This season at O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium features more than 30 Friday-evening public shows. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for best seats. No late seating is permitted.
Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is sister property to Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort located in Cherokee, NC. Ground broke at the new casino in Murphy in October of 2013. Both properties are managed by Caesars Entertainment, LLC and owned by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation. It opened in October 2015.

The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are located along the shores of beautiful Lake Chatuge in the north Georgia mountain community of Hiawassee and is only two hours from Atlanta, Greenville, Asheville and Chattanooga. We are a small, non-profit school devoted to bringing quality Lapidary, Earth Science, and Jewelry Making classes to the widest range of students possible. We offer classes in many subjects that are designed to aid the hobbyist in acquiring the skills required to make beautiful jewelry pieces, identify gems and minerals, and much, much more.
